Welcome! I’m Jim McBeth, but most anyone you meet who knows me, calls me Jimmy. I’m a 71-year-old, semi-retired parimutuel auditor living in Southern California.
I have lots of interest in several areas, but few hobbies. I’m a wine hobbyist though, and love to share my grape. I always have a book open, but finishing them is problematic. I tend to see some other title that piques my interest, and I’ll immediately begin to read it. It’s a vicious cycle. Travel is high up on my bucket list, especially now in my 70’s. I like to combine travel with history and wine. It’s a nice trifecta. Live music is always better, and I’m a terrible golfer these days. Well I wasn’t that good when it was those days either.
But as you’ll see if you hang around it’s family and friends that are the main reason I’m writing this blog. Truly blessed to have the opportunity to share a few stories on here. Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoy.
